Additional activity opportunities include a disc golf course, a fishing pond, and pathways ideal for area exploration and outdoor enjoyment. As an added bonus the park boasts beautiful budding flowers in the spring and a relaxed atmosphere among nature year-round. Nearing closer to the fall season, the area mature tree life that’s scattered around the park transforms into a stunning array of vivid colors including deep reds, bright yellows, and oranges.

Porter Park - 2nd West & 2nd South

          The gracious spaces of Porter Park act as more of a central gathering place for many of those visiting or residing in the community of Rexburg, Idaho. Visitors to the park may take delight in a well-maintained area with gorgeous soaring high pine trees and an assortment of additionally wonderful tree life. The park absolutely beams with a variety of greenery during the warmer months and is a beautifully scenic destination. One of the greatest features of Porter Park is having the opportunity to enjoy the merriment of park amenities. Porter Park features the historic Idaho Centennial Carousel which is a popular attraction for many. During the warmer months, the spray park/splash pad attracts the multitude as its a fun and quick way to cool day on a hot summer day. Smith Park -

          Established in 1954, Smith Park was named after Mayor Fred Smith, who also happened to be one of the first children born in Rexburg as his father was one of the original eleven settlers to arrive in the territory. This charming park is a favorite among locals as the park is home to vast open grassy areas, water features, a historic train and veterans memorial, a playground, soccer fields, a baseball diamond with bleachers, tennis courts, a gazebo, pathways, picnic tables, and shelters, in addition to a skatepark. Bring a hammock for utter relaxation or find yourself enjoying one of the many area events that take place here. Once winter has come and snow has made its way through the region, Smith Park is transformed into a winter wonderland filled with people enjoying a myriad of snow activities including tobogganing, tubing, snow creations, a game of snowball toss, snowboarding and snow games galore.

Evergreen Park - 766 Lodgepole Street

         The meticulously landscaped Evergreen Park exudes a lovely environment great for outdoor enjoyment. Taking a break from the day and heading over to the park for a picnic is an excellent option at Evergreen Park as the park boasts a charming gazebo with 6-8 bench tables. Find soccer fields, a playground as well as lots of green spaces. Come winter the park makes for an excellent destination for gathering snow to build a snowman or ice cave.

Park Street Park - 513 Park Street

         Park Street Park is a quaint community park located at the corner of Park Street and S. 5th W in Rexburg. Head outdoors to relish in the tremendous greenery offered at this location combined with a day of fun-filled adventurous play. Upon arrival at Park Street Park delight in pathways, a toddler playground, and picnic benches. What makes this park absolutely fantastic is that it is exactly what one might think of when considering locations for creative and imaginary play. The park may also act as an ideal for bringing out the canvas and painting a picture, as the park is quite majestic.

Community Park - 2ns North and Madison Ave

         Community Park is a small park that is geared toward athletic events and is frequently used by the Madison School District for sporting events from Spring through the Fall season. The park covers a total of 8.2 acres and sits alongside the Madison Junior High School baseball fields. Home to a playground, a baseball diamond, and a large playing field, those who enjoy open grass areas and the opportunity for a game of ball may find themselves here at Community Park in Rexburg.
